SUMMARY:Webelos Woods
DESCRIPTION:Webelos Woods is Friday 11/5 through Sunday morning 11/7. \nWe will be meeting at the high school tennis courts parking lot at 4:30 pm (afternoon) on Friday to travel out to Baiting Hollow. If you can help with transporting the boys out Friday afternoon or Sunday morning\, please do so and let me know. \nThe troop supplies the tents for the boys.  The adults are on their own for tents.  The boys should be tenting with other boys. \nWe will be shopping for the food we will be eating Thursday evening at the Setauket BJs\, 7:30 pm \nClass B uniforms going out Friday\, and Class A all day Saturday. I don’t know what site we will be in yet\, I’ll let you know later in the week. Our assignment for this year is Fire Building\, and Fire Starting.  There is No BB range or archery this year. \nThe boys need to pick and choose what they want from the list\, they don’t need everything on the list. \nWe will be out 2 nights\, and it will be cool in the evening.  Dress and pack accordingly. The boys do not need tents and mess kits. Cool weather clothing\, Class A uniforms\, sleeping bag\, flash lights\, personal gear\, rain gear\, etc. are some of the things they will need. \nThe cost for the trip will be $20.00 for the boys\, and the adults are free.  The money is for the food and the patch. \nIf you are planning on coming out Saturday morning\, keep in mind that it gets very crowded early Saturday morning\, so leave yourself some extra time.  The webelos are usually told to be out at camp by 7:00 am in the morning. \nI will need to know by this Thursday morning what boys and adults are planning on coming along.  This is a two night trip.  You may not be able to be there both nights\, but I need to know what you are planning\, so I can make sure we have coverage\, and so we know how much food to buy. \nAny questions\, give me a call.  I will not be monitoring my email on Friday.
