DESCRIPTION:PLEASE LET MR. PEARSALL KNOW ASAP \nOk\, We are all set. The Deposit is paid and we secured The Ice Skating Merit Badge Pizza Party! \nThis event will take place Saturday\, March 10th @10a.m. at the Rinx-Port Jefferson\, located at the Village Center in Downtown Port Jefferson Village. \nThe Merit badge has an “On Ice” proponent approximately 1hr. 15 mins.\, which will include some free skating time. \nThere is also an “Off Ice” Skating Safety Review\, and General Skating Rules focus\, along with general skate maintenance and upkeep portion that we will covering at subsequent Troop meetings. \nIf you have Ice skates\, Great! Bring them along. Otherwise the Skating Rink has Rental Skates. It might also be a good idea to bring along a pair of gloves and a warm hat as we will be outside on the Ice. \nThe Cost is $20. per person\, which includes the Ice Time\, Skate Rentals\, Pizza and Soda!  \nThat is a Great Deal\, and the entire Merit Badge can be earned during this event and with the paperwork at the subsequent troop meetings.  Also\, those who already earned the Merit Badge and looking for Ice time are welcome as well. \nThis event will be a lot of fun and looking forward to see you there. \n P.S. I should be there approximately 9:45am.. sporting a Big Blue N.Y. Rangers Hockey Jersey! \nThanks Again\, \nAnd hope to see you there. \nCharles\, and BP \nP.S.  – Even if the boys don’t want to do the merit badge\, they can still skate for an hour\, and still get some pizza and soda after\, so I think that this is a good deal. If the boys need rental skates\, that comes with this also. The merit badge is a good choice because without too much effort\, they can earn the badge. And\, they will learn how to skate backwards!!! There is also a person celebrating a birthday this Saturday\, so we need people to help him celebrate!
