Mr. Reed is going to run Skating Merit badge at the rink in the community center up in Port Jefferson on Saturday January 8^th, from 10:00 am to approximately 12:00 noon.  The merit badge can be earned all on this day.  The cost will be $20.00 for the use of the facility, the skating rental, and there will be pizza and soda afterwards.  The first part of the badge will be on the ice, and the second part will be inside the center in a class room setting to finish the requirements.  Pizza and soda will be served at the end.  You need to let us know ahead of time if you are coming, so please respond to this email if you are attending.  You can pay us at next week’s meeting.  Bring some warm clothes and good socks for the skating part.
